What began as an idea for Aggies
to help fellow Aggies has blossomed
into a successful copy service that
was recently named Favorite Printing
Service in the Brazos Valley in The
Eagle’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
Nick Bregenzer, Dennis Averitt
and Larry Hodges were the founders
of Copy Corner. The company began
with the three founders plus two parttime
employees. Today, Copy Corner
has 15 full-time and 35 part-time
employees, many of whom are students
at Texas A&M, Blinn College
and even local high schools.
“We employ a core staff of fulltime
employees that give us great
depth in experience and technical
knowledge,” said Hodges. “To that
mix, we add bright young people who
call College Station home - either by
birth or by being a student at Texas
A&M University. This gives us the
ability to keep abreast of current
trends and expectations, as well as
the ability to be open at a time when
other copy stores are closed, thereby
offering our customers more flexibility
to get their projects done.”
Customer service has been the key ingredient in the recipe for success at Copy Corner.
“We know that each person has their own individual needs and expectations, and it is up to us to determine how we can best help them with their particular projects,” said Hodges. “We stress to all our team members to listen to the customer and communicate options to ensure that the job we hand back to them is of unequaled quality.”
Copy Corner has a wide variety
of customers. Some just need a few
simple black and white copies, while
others need major projects taken care
of, from design to layout, copies,
binding, and posters printed, mounted
and laminated. Copy Corner can
help each customer through the process,
no matter what size of job.
Hodges is especially satisfied
when he gets positive feedback from
the performance of a member of his
team.
“The best compliment is when
someone tells me what a great staff we
have,” said Hodges. “It feels good to
know that our team is all on the same
page when it comes to providing the
best service to our customers.”
Hodges is humbled and inspired
by Copy Corner being honored with
the Readers’ Choice Award. This does
not mean Copy Corner will rest on
their laurels.
“We plan to continue to grow in
technology - staying abreast of new
developments - in order to always
give our customer the best quality
for the best price and to deliver it in
a way that makes us proud,” Hodges
said.
