Brown’s Shoe Fit Co. has been
in the Bryan/College Station area
for more than 30 years. The store
is part of the Brown’s Shoe Fit Co.
franchise based out of Iowa, but
is locally owned and operated by
Jeffrey Coppernoll. His store was
selected “Best Shoe Store” by readers
of The Eagle.
“This award helps make all the hard work and long hours everyone in the store puts in feel worth it,” he said.
The staff of Brown’s Shoe Fit Co.
encompasses a wide range of people,
but all work for the same goal.
“Our employees are sons, daughters,
mothers and fathers. They are
students and teachers. They are
married and single. They are young
and not so young,” Coppernoll said.“They are regular people working
for a living. They all are individuals
with different styles and we are fortunate
to have them on our staff and
try to make them as knowledgeable
as possible so they can be ready to
help anyone who comes through our
doors. Our staff has extensive experience
in fitting and selling shoes and
we really try to do the best possible
job of fitting the customer with the
best style and size of shoe for their
needs.”
The selection of shoes is what sets Brown’s Shoe Fit Co. apart from other shoe stores in the Brazos Valley.
“We try to offer a very wide selection of product for the entire family, not just ladies, mens and children’s shoes. We have different styles from a varied group of manufacturers from all over the world. We feature the widest selection of sizes and widths of any shoe store in the area. We carry a great selection of arch supports, insoles, shoe care products and accessories, along with a nice selection of handbags,” Coppernoll said.
With the wide selection, knowledgeable sales associates and a new facility, customers are excited to shop at Coppernoll’s store.
“We offer quality merchandise,
set in a clean, updated facility, with
trained, knowledgeable salespeople
and we are truly ready to try and help
anyone find the correct footwear for
their needs. We try to push the limits
on the amount and the variety of
footwear we feature in order to provide
consumers with the best selection
of the most current styles from
the best manufacturers. If we do not
have what a customer needs, we have
the contacts and resources in the
shoe business to get what them what
they want,” Coppernoll said.
With 30 years experience of selling shoes, Coppernoll’s future business plan is simple.
“Sell shoes. That’s what we do,”
Coppernoll said. “We will continue
to try and expand on the selection of
ladies fashion footwear and maintain
our level of service and commitment
to the customer.”
